ok this guy says the eclipse he is selling he thinks has rod knock but it could be somethin as simple as loose flywheel. how would i find out whats goin on?

I dont think a flywheel would sound like a rod knocking. Take it to a shop and have them pull off the oil pan and check it out before you buy it.
