To start, I am a somewhat of an experienced :dsm: DSM owner. Since I have owned my car for about 8 months, I have taken it apart on numerous occasions. It just so happens that recently my torque converter has shit the bed :thumbdown So after countless hours searching online and going to autoparts stores I send out this question!!!
Where the hell can I get an OEM torque converter for a decent price without going through Mitsu??? If there are any websites or stores anyone can let me know about it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks to anyone trying to help :thumb:

Well my torque converter took a shit also and i couldnt afford a billet one at the time because shit there like a grand. So when I took it to my local automatic trans shop they just ordered me a new one and installed it and he said it was 150 bucks for the converter. Im not sure if its Mitsu OEM converter but it works fine for me and wasnt to expensive. Best thing to do is go down to your nearest trans shop and ask them how much it would cost for them to order u one, im sure they have many resources.

Thank you for that bit of info I think tomorrow may be a day to take a drive to the local tranny shop. By the way, should i mention to them that the car has a 7-bolt crank or will it make a difference?

Thanks again

It doesn't matter if you tell him 7 bolt or not because your car is a 93 and the only option was a 7 bolt, if anything you'll only confuse him. Just tell him what you have and what you need, that is all.
