Left key in ignition overnight, battery drained, is this normal or is the battery going bad?

What position was the key in? Was it to ON or to ACC? Also, if its cold it will drain alot faster.

im guesssing you left it in acc because it shouldnt drain it otherwise

When I was working on my car one night I left the key in in the acc position and the next evening (I didn't drive it that day since it was being worked on) it still turned over and started.

depens on what was still on .. its pretty normal esp if your in a cold enviorment.
