im selling my Rx-8 cuase its too much money for the performance and i need to start saving more for a place,.... but anyway ive always wanted a 2g GSX heres what i found.

a 1999 GSX eclipse with ONLY 15,000 miles... the guy had a couple other cars and kept it garaged almost its intire life,....

im buying it from him for 13,000 $ does that sound like a good deal? its fully loaded. but Auto.
sounds great to me, but just wanted your opinions.
thanks

What are you going to use it for? Big power? Daily? Many people on this sitewill say that for racing the auto is worse, and if racing is what it is for, you may want to reconsider. There are options to build it mind you, and a search will lead to many many discussions on manual vs. auto. I have an auto now, soon to be converted. But if the tranny doesn't matter now, that sounds like a great deal and good find.

this will be my new Daily driver... id liek to build it up alittle, but not for hardcore racing. just for fun

hey who wants to buy my rx-8? LOL :)

If you really want a manual then look around for one, but if youll be content with the auto and like the car then go ahead.

Personally though, i look around you can find a relatively low mileage WRX for 13-15k. Their are quite a few in my area under 30k for under 15k. I think their interiors are way nicer, and would make a much better daily driver.

Well, blue book value on a 99 GSX auto w/15k is $11,130. The only problem with that is DSMs tend to be worth more to enthusiasts, which is most of the time who buys them. Getting a GSX with 15k is a tough find though, you could try to talk him down a bit.

On a side note, is that still covered under warrenty? If so, I'd say 13k is fine.
