I'm wondering if anyone with this setup has sort of like a tractor sound when suddenly stepping on the gas. I guessing its because the cat has been removed and replaced by a staight thru downpipe. Could anyone else with this setup clairify this. WOT sounds insane :thumb:

I have had the exhaust on my N/T for the last three years....Never noticed any tractor sounds....its a little raspy, but nothing I cant put up with

It rumbles... and was very DEEP. The older thermals sounded better than the newer ones (I had an original model, non SS) It rusted and I broke it on a big launch. Now I sport a "Megan racing" ebay special. Looks nice, sounds like a pissed off car running lean with the straight pipe. I put in the high flow cat and it's pretty nice actually.. :)

I don't have a o2 elim downpipe, only the cat elim downpipe with 3in thermal catback. I heard the tractor sound from outside watching a friend WOT my car. Thats why I was wondering if anyone else has the same tractor sound with this exhaust. But from inside the car, it sound great, you can't even hear the tractor noise. I think it may have a small leak somewhere. Oh yeah I put jb weld over the second O2 sensor as a temperary plug. I checked that and its still there, no holes burning through.

Note: this only happens on the first part of accelerating, when stepping on the gas, not all through accelerating. Thanks
