Question Repair Shop inquiry

I need to get my head gasket and clutch replaced and I don't have the time to do it myself. Does anyone know of a competively priced and reliable repair shop in the Dallas area?

Thank you.

lol good luck. At just about any shop the quotes for those two will be outragous. They will both be probably about a $400-500 quote. And thats EACH! not together. The lowest quote i got for my clutch was i think $350. I just let a fellow DSM'er with a 6-bolt and 20g do it for $125. He did great.

R.I.P Joey!!

Considering the fact that Satan quoted around $1200 for each repair, I really don't care if I end up paying a grand for those repairs.

damn, that is awful!!! I just don't see the reason in paying that much money to do something i could do myself and learn a lot. When i did my timing belt i learnt a lot. I would do it again even if it was a pain in the ass.

Why don't you do what LifIsPeachy02 did and see if someone local wants to make some extra cash.

I don't have the time or the will to do it right now and I'd rather go to a repair shop for liability purposes.
