F&F eclipse engine specs?

i know the movie wasnt that great but i would just like to know all the parts that were in the 95 eclipse rs from the fast and the furious. does anyone know a site that has this information? i'm tired of hearing people say "just like the ones from the fast and the furious", so i would like to know the real parts to find out if they are lying or not. it would be cool if someone knows. oh by the way i'm new here and i think this site is the sh*t.

it was a gs eclipse with a cold air intake. no turbo. hahahaha. God i hate that movie.

actually your wrong it is an RS because it has no moon roof.

RS's have DOHC, it's the 420A , a neon R/T motor

not it's the more "luxurious" version. both share the same engines, the GS just comes with more standard options.

Also dont forget the eclipse had like an 8 gear tranny. In the beginning of the movie when brian "races" all by himself, count how many times he shifts.

Its the same when the supra races the ferrari, a ton of shifts. #@%#@%#@%

oo oo and spoon motors with turbos and NOS, for those who dont know spoon engines run 13:1 compression if fully built by spoon

it sounded kinda like my HKS when it was vented to the atmosphere. the super sequential BOV has a whistle in it. but i'm not 100% sure what they actually used.

did anyone understand why you'd need to double clutch an eclipse? what was he supposed to be driving a big rig? never got that line.

The sounds of the turbo and BOV are from a turbocharged integra.

oh, dude i know. it's fake as hell. but for some reason that line bothers the #@%#@%#@%#@% out of me. my dad even asked me about that. he's a muscle car guy and he thought maybe i knew something about imports that he didn't.
i told him the movie was full of shizit and he told me stories about driving a truck for his father in the sixties.
