Actually what you are referring to is the price for just sheps stage 3 package, not a whole trans. This is a new transmission. And that's why I said best offer, I am not trying to rob anyone. The reason I'm asking THAT much is because I had to have SHEP buy a brand new trans from Mitsubishi for ~$3,000 then do his stage 3 setup for an additional $1,975. All said and done the bill came to about 5 grand. Since then I have only put minimum, babying the car miles on her. I think what I am asking is reasonable, but like I said I will consider all offers, first person to offer me a worth m while offer I will accept.

can i ask why you bought a brand new trans from mitsu just to have it rebuilt, as opposed to getting a junk trans and building that one?

Even though that question really has no bearing... It's what SHEP recommended at the time and I didn't have more time to waste searching forums for a used trans. Plus the stage 3 doesn't completely rebuild it!
