3rd Annual GMU Meet

Since it was posted up early last year I'll do the same this year.
March 12th 2005 we will have our 3rd annual DSM meet at lot K of Gearge Mason University. Same spot as the last 2yrs.
Being a little over 2mos in advance, this should be enough time to let people know when it is, request time off work and get the last minute winter projects finished up on their precious Mitsus, Eagles and Plymouths.
The meet will start at 1pm as usual.

I went to the last one and thought I was out of place with my stock NA. Now I have my gsx, finally can actually roll within 100 feet

The good thing about this meet is that, lots of different cars show up. Everything from N/T to turboed 3000 GT VR4's and all kinds of krazy things. There is also the lost SRT-4 that wonders in and then leaves.

This is a chance for the DSM community to start the year off right and show off their winter projects, make some new friends and get ideas that could be used for a new project. There are nice looking N/T cars with custom sub set-ups to fully modded not street leagel DSM's showing up.

There is a McDonalds across the way so you can grab a bite to eat, and there were even people that brought a grill.

Everyone hangs out for a couple of hours and then groups of people go out to eat and then show up at the Burger King and McDonalds off RT 28 in Manassas.

Hope this year has a even bigger turnout.

This will be a trip down for me but i am talkin to some friends and i might have a local group of guys cruising down which will be cool.

wow two days and its already at 12 people. I expect to see at least 75 on here by march. Last year if you weren't there was incredible. We had supras, srt-4's, a very nice s2000, 3si's (yes bring them along dan), WRX's and who knows what else. Granted its a dsm meet mostly but it was somewhat nice to see other cars out there. I'll be posting this event on other forums so i hope we get close to 250 cars this year. See what happens

Hey whats up Martin. Myself and Chris posted this on dragva. I also posted it up on dcevoclub and evolutionm.net so we are planning on a big turnout

it's just always been such a good meet, i hope that the others that show up show some kind of respect for the event.

It would be cool if we can organize it to where all the DSM are parked together, EVO together and so on. make for one hell of a pic.

I'm hoping to have some bad ass new parts available by then

Team Trinity with their one Evo and their new colt will be together. As far as the other DSMs there usually is so many plus all the other cars there its kinda hard to get them all together. The evo's usually consist of the DC EVO CLUB, so they usually park on their own. Then there are the few stragglers. We will see what we can do.
