All Oklahoma Dsm'ers - any upcoming shows?

Just wondering about any upcoming shows any body from oklahoma is going to really bored and feel like traveling

Doug there are a few. Myself pitbull1990 and calan aka Craig from piedmont. Another member flying eagle is from carnegie. Pretty soon theyll be crawling from the woodwork. I ran across most from CL posts or noticing their region whenver they replied to tech posts. I cant wait till 9am. I have yet to work with another 2g. 1gs are a PITA by the way excluding the fact that they have rediculous amounts of engine bay space unlike the cramped 2g's

Sup Okies, Blaze here. Summer is almost here and if your looking for some metro or local car shows go to the link below: If your ever in OKC on saturday night between 10pm - till hit up 39th street in Bethany ,Oklahoma
you will run into some guys who are serious about cars and point you in the right direction, but don't get me wrong majority are youngsters who know nothing. hope this helps.

Ive been to 39th a few times since I graduated and your right mainly a bunch of idiots. Lots of mustangs and riced out hondas. Do you roll up often on saturdays? I go up with some members of Revolution Motorsports sometimes. My buddy has a boosted white Del Sol with CF hood. Very clean car.

The only times I have been down 39th on cruise night was while heading to Autozone for a late night clamp or some other part.

I guess I'm just too old-school; back in the day, it was all about chasing tail up and down Air Depot in MWC in Camaros, Mopars, and Mustangs. Of course us "pros" had CB radios (cell phones were still several years off) to help avoid the local PD and spread the word on some hotties wanting to party .

Back then a 12 or 13-second car RULED... Things sure do change in 25 yrs

The OKies are crawling out of the woodwork . Im thinking we could all find a day its nice and meet up somewhere and have a bbq with some beer and good car talk. Its a long shot but I think it would be cool if we planned it out ahead of time maybe towards the end of summer when we can all have time to get the cars up and in shape.

IF and this is a BIG IF my car comes a little further along in the upcoming weeks and I can get a weekend off Im going to try to plan a cruise day before the end of summer. Possibly get some of the area members together for some good ol fashioned car talk and bbq, beer to those who are legal and good times

Im from Tulsa and we got a few shows coming up this summer at TulsaRacewayPark the first is Street Warz on June 26 and the next is Import Face Off on September 19 and we also have the midnight drags on Saturday nights at 10 they start on April 3 so come on down and play

Your no the only one.

My dad has a 95 TSI AWD, and my step brother has one too. His it up at Able racing right now. He has some serious money in his.

By the way anyone close to piedmont want to come help me figure out whats wrong with some of the DSMs I have been working on.

The TSI doesn't want to start and run. And the Spyder doesn't want to start because the fuel pump doesn't come on after I did a tranny swap.
