Anyone near Warsaw, IN
Seen a few modded DSM's around here (other than mine, lol) but I've never had the chance to meet anyone. Just curious if there's anyone on DSMtuners in the area!

Yeah, Single Digit Racing is the only shop I will go to here in Indy, well its only 10 minutes away, and I know the guys there personally, they have 2 1gs and a 2g there, shop cars, and they are pristine in condition.

Just do some man-whoring on the side. Sell your body, not your ride!

You need to find a better job then man, not too many people can afford a modded car, and let alone make rent. Just look into it. I hate to see other DSMers loose thier rides, but hey, the world wont end over it.

Yeah my damn state tax return was SUPPOSED to help cover rent this month, but it conveinently never arrived. On top of that I'm laid off until beginning of next month so it's lookin like I don't have much choice

No I was only supposed to be laid off for a few weeks, which ended up becoming a little over a month. And my taxes, heh, I filed them mid feburary. I dunno what the deal with that shit is, I mean I got my fed. back about a month ago. Just never saw my state check. I got a truck that I may be selling instead, but it's our hualing/towing truck for track days (I like to be ready ahead of time believe it or not lol) Anyways, I got a race lined up for tommorow. One of those long lasting rivalries who I'm putting down once an for all. Hes got a 5 spd 84 trans am. Alot of my buddies have f-bodies, in fact I just sold my 80 T/A before I bought this talon, and so far none have beaten me. This kid has the bottom feeder, and just can't stand the fact that all his LT1/LS1 buddies are telling him to just give it up. He's the kid who still says "There's no replacement for displacement" even though his T/A is rated at 140 hp stock at the flywheel. I guess he's bored it to a 310 with "an R.V. cam" and a short shifter. I've beat every person I know thats beat him, so all should be well. I'll let you guys know how it turns out, assuming he shows. *BTW, I do not condone/encourage any type of street racing, but when the cocky V-8 kid turns own a legit track race, and continues to spread bad rep about my car I feel it's quite appropriate to put my foot down. The RIGHT one

Haha, I avoided selling the talon by selling the truck and bitching my roomate out for slackin on his end of the rent. Of course, last night the transmission in my AWD took a big sh!t on me but as is life right?

I'm almost afraid to check it out. Nearly all the local boards I've checked out (not just our area) seem a little chaotic, punk-ricer-kiddish sometimes. I haven't seen that one though, I will take a gander.

What? Are you serious? No, not these. They are hounded more than this site (if that is possible). Moderators on there are actually not as uptight, but they do get the job done. Don't knock it til you try it...

Yeah. I bought it knowing the trans was gonna need replaced. I got a good deal on it just becuase of that. Then I tried to make it a daily driver when gas went up to 3.30/ gal. Seeing as the truck I sold was my DD and getting a marvolous 5-7mpg. It lasted a surprising bit too (the tranny). But since I had to sell the truck and the trans went all in like the same week I'm kinda boned lol. Maybe go buy a moped till I can pay for a shep trans HAHAHAHA
