Not new to DSM, but yet another Talon

Just thought I'd stop by and say hi and show off some of my turds.

After Springs..


Got this thing for a steal because it sputtered under boost and developed "lifter tick"
The boost sputter was caused by worn out platinum plugs and the "lifter tick" was nothing more than an exhuast leak.

And finally, my real pride and joy











Hopefully out in spring.. looking for an excess of 400hp out of the old ecotec 2.2
Bored/Built block coming as soon as I fix the new talon and replace the front case contents (timing parts)

Wow good looking cav. How much did you pick that talon up for. I think its funny when people get ideas in their head and sell it before checking every thing out. Ends up being a small fix most of the time

Nice cars. My next DSM will be an AWD. Around here, It's all about the Hondas, 350Z's, Evo's, Sti's, etc. I have yet to see a turbo Cavi around here. Nice car.

He got that 2g for a damn steal I'm pretty sure. Cavillac, this is Ninja BTW. I know, OLD name but they won't let me change it.

Freshlane, the cav ran nitrous for a few years, then 8psi for a couple months and then I upped it to 15psi for about a week and the motor blew apart. Fully built block coming in spring, wiesco 8.5 compression pistons with .5mm overbore, BS elimination, Eagle rods and a nice set of lumpy cams.

Ooops, I picked up the new 2G for 3,000$. It has 117k, Greddy upper/lower I/C pipes, Greddy type S BOV, cat back exhuast w/o muffler, Dejon Tool Intake and some nice autometer guages.
