rods a knockin ! took off the pan to check the damage and cylinder 1 had a bit of rod play and scratched the crank bad, then took off number 4 and the bearings were copper and broke in half ! im planning this rebuild but need something soon to put in to drive ! just found a motor in walsboro for 700 , 80,000 miles on it tho, perfect compression the guy says, he pulled it due to major rust issues ! hes willin to pull the pan , timing covers , and valve cover if i want

Good luck on that price. There is a yard near me that has 2 awd 1g but they want 400 for the motor and trans.
