While im stripping my talon down to the bare metal for the scrap yard. I decided to rebuild my shifter base. This shifter base will be going in my new 1995 GSX. These shifter bases tend to rust out and get play in them. I stripped it down, got the rust off, installed new bolts, greased up what needed to be greased up and new bushings! Enjoy :hellyeah:

Did you just sand them down or use a certain product? Either way it looks great but why are you scrapping your talon?

Looks great I need to replace the bushings in mines it feels flimsy think I might sand and paint mines as well.

looks great man. did you rebuild it with parts? or just clean the crap out of the old parts?

Wow it didn't even cross my mind to pant the whole braket, that looks awesome!
I am removing my interior and I thought it looked so ugly but you save me LOL

Used a wire wheel, had a spare spring, just used standard high heat paint flat black. Lubed all points up with wheel bearing grease.
