Suggestions on making my own turbo intake?

Hello,

I have searched a bit and found that you can use a 90-93 Honda Accord intake to make your own fender well pipe. My question is is there anything else that's larger? the Honda intake pipe is only 2.75 inches in circumference. I need a 3-4 in kit... But im not really wanting to spend what most companies want for a pre made intake. I bought a name brand JLT imtake for my mustang and it cost around 95 with a 9"x4" kn... So it baffels me why a smaller pipe with 2 bends cost 145 at least. So if anyone has made one or has any suggestions, let me hear them!

I've have seen a few guys on here make them out of fiber glass. so i would probably look under the fabrication forums and see what guys have made.

Try searching on ebay. Or just get some piping and bend it across a anvil or a plumbers pipe bend.
