Hey would someone be able to point me in the right direction I have a 98 gsx with a 6bolt swap Nd a 7 bolt wire harness Nd ecu but I wanna know which way i should go, EPROM ecu or sprint 500, after the winter I'm am fully rebuilding it for 600hp to the wheels. And I'm already goin thru difficultys with EPROM ### I have a 98 ecu Nd if I run a 95-96 I have to do the cam angle señsor and the spark plug wires on top of gettin it chipped Nd buying the v3 and perchasing a 95-97 ecu.And will the sprint 500 pass mass inspection

It will control the engine at 600hp Easily, you will be way more likely to pass any kind of emission testing of safety inspection with ecmlink.

See my whole thing is the mapping with it, they say you might need this and tht to get the full mapping or to run gauges, like the maf wiring str8 to the ecu by the time everything all said and done its like, to me buying a standalone. feel me I got a 98 so i gotta get a new ecu Nd send it out Nd get the program too Nd whatever else is missing

You can spend the money to get a standalone, do you know how to tune with that standalone? If not then you can spend an arm and a leg finding someone to tune it.
Or get dsmlink which is made by dsm'rs for dsm's and run it in SD mode and be backed by a large majority of users who would be willing to help out with any issues you have tuning or just getting it to pass emissions. It pretty much almost sells itself, why not buy it?
I know more people who have learned dsmlink than aem, haltech or anything else I have come across.

You do have a point I have a tuner who tunes haltechs but yea why not I just dont wanna keep dumping money into the EPROM cause I have my 240 with a haltech I just want a good workin ecu that I can tune that I can trust to do the job and not a headach to add things to

You don't need anything else other than a socketed eprom which you can buy already socketed, the daughter board and cable that comes with the setup. You don't have to change any wiring around. Just plug the ecu in, hook cable up to data port and lap top. From there you tell it what maf you are using, the injector size, rev limit and idle and it will have a base tune that will make the car run as good as it did from the factory, and you can fine tune from there. You will want to have a wideband sensor with either setup to get monitor a/f ratio's. This basically turns your stock ecu into a full standalone that is way easier to tune than any other on the market.

Where can I get a widenband sensor at And thank you

Like said above just buy the link and EPROM package for ecmtuning and your set. The only problem you will have with wire swapping etc is taken care of with the click of a mouse inside the link program.

As for the wideband just get one off a supporting vendor or eBay is fine also as long as you get a good one. Innovate is probably the best, but the aem uego is pretty good also.

Also ONLY some 95's have a EPROM ecu no others as far as 2gs go.

I got my link regardless of price its what i wanted, for my needs and goals, a lot more than a flashed ecu. But we all have our choices, options, and budgets, i love, the forums you get everyones , ideas, opionons, experience etc.

The 1g's can't use the flashable ecu, so your statement is a tad flawed.
Most of the people that use DSMlink, bought it before the flashable ecu was discovered.

What's so un user friendly about ECU Flash? Is it just that hard for you to tune with one program and log with another (evoscan)? It's so hard for me to check the air in my tires, so I'm going to fill them with great stuff foam so I don't have to check them again cause it's so much work.

Now I said "IN MY OPINION" link is more user friendly. I think this for multiply reasons the main one being on this forum if you have a problem tuning etc you can throw up a log and other members will check them out tell you their opinions and advice. In no way am I saying that you can do that with your flashed ecus, but I think there are far more people on this forum using link and therefore more people can help. That's why I like link along with other things. But like I said before it was IMO, and that is what a forum is for to get opinions from others. Don't act like you a know all god and you the only one that matters and flame everyone elses. I didnt hate on your beloved ecu just stating other options.

And as for the separate tuner and logger, I absolutely believe less software is more user friendly. Usually more simple=more user friendly.

As for your tire pressure I'm sorry your having trouble with that. If you would like I will make you a personal write-up to walk you through it. Then again if your having problems maybe others are so I'll just post a tech article on it. Good luck with your tire foam stuff though.
