So this is for my buddy with a 95 GSX:

He just got his car out of paint (sitting for 2 months ROFL )and now the radiator light is stuck on, but there is coolant in the system and the overflow bottle is past full. I did some searching and it could be that the float is stuck, any other ideas before I help him pull the overflow to work on that?

2nd is this random sensor that I can't for the life of me figure out. He is the 3rd (or 18th LOL) owner of the car and I just spent a whole day fixing all the screwed up wiring in the dash, so it could be anything.

It has a glass fuse on the wire and is positioned at the intake. What is it for?

looks like the sensor that goes to the over flow bottle on the bottom that will trick a low coolent light at least on a 1g thats were its at

Weird, since the sensor is not plugged in at all, wouldn't that drain the overflow tank? It is still full right now

from what the pic looks like looks like the sensor is still plugged in just looks like the wires ripped off the prongs

Yeap that looks like what it is. We unplugged the sensor and the light went off. Time to get another sensor. Thanks!

Anyone know where we can get the sensor by itself? The stealership says it is part of the overflow bottle and that whole part is discontinued
