1G Missing? What could it be

Hey guys I am sorta on vacation right now and my 1g gsx started acting up. Anyways it starting missing at all rpms. I have checked and double checked for vacuum leaks and even took the whole stock intake system off and redid it. The car is boosts to normal levels but it does not seem as fast as normal. It also has a very bouncy idle from its normal 950-1000rpm idle. Its going from 500-850ish. The car also now want to stall all the time. I just replaced the plugs and drove it with no change. .032 was the gap on the plugs. Wires are new and have been working fine. Any ideas on what this could be?

A bad coil for missing, check vacuum leaks, check everything.

Checked vacuums everywhere. Could not find anything. I hope its not the coil as it has to get me back 200+ miles to work tomorrow.

Did you do a boost leak.

No boost leaks. Pulls all the way to redline with out an issue. Just not as fast as normal.

Sounds like ics or biss screw or egr valve something on throttle body

i would just do a blt anyway. and make shure ## getting good spark. maybe u fouled some plugs.. seen that before

Well it was missing on the old plugs so I changed them out. The car does smell rich so it may be the coil pack going out. Not hard to change but fun as its my only car and I work the rest of the week.

maybe a leaking fuel system I had an issue with the injector seals leaking and at idle it would loose pressure and idle would drop and stalling. I would get the rich smell to but it was just sunburnt fuel coming out at injectors.

Ill check the injectors. They have only been in for 2600 miles. They came out of a working 2g. Same as stock so they should be fine. All the gaskets looked good but Ill check them.

check the gasket in between the throttle body and intake manifold if that gasket leaks it will cause you to misfire constantly throughout your entire rpm range just my .02 cents

Will check that. The miss is getting worse and it burned about 2 quarts of oil in 200 miles on the way back to SC. I have a feeling I am loosing compression in a cylinder. Going to test it when I get home tonight from work.
