Funny Idling

So this morning I was warming up my car... and maybe a minute into it the car started idling funny... up and down.. from 1rp to 1.5rpm up and down... i gave it gas to see if it would stop but it wouldn't... I figured maybe its the weather and just wait until the temp is leveled... nope.. kept doing it.. so i turned it off.. and turned it back on.. and it went away...

Does anyone know why the car was doing that?... it almost idled the same way when I once forgot to connect the MAF but I checked it and it was fine... anyway.. just thought i'd ask.. just so I know if it's normal or something i should worry about..

Iac motor might have jammed temporarily.

Run the test procedure on the IAC to see if a coil is going out.
