Hey guys, i just had my eclipse rebuilt, i'm having a problem starting, it take a few tries then it starts, after warming up the idle goes up slowly and peaks at about 2k rpms. I put new spark plugs, wires and tps, what else should i try?

i left it on for 20 mins, then turned it off. Restarted and was 2k rpms again.

Did the it ever idle down when it warmed up? you may have a vacuum leak somewhere. Have you checked for aby leaks in yet? Maybe where the throttle body bolts on or in an emission hose.

The picture shows the way i have it hooked up currently, the previous owner didn't have an evap solenoid or fuel purge solenoid, so it was hooked up modified 2g in the picture shown. I don't know if that make a difference. I'm gonna check my vacuum and emission hoses.

not sure if it went through

sounds like a vacuum leak behind the throttle plate, make sure your thottle body gaskets are there, the little o-ring for the IAC isnt missing, all the hoses are hooked up, brake booster, fuel reg., map sensor o-ring, and EGR lines, and if something isnt pulling on the throttle. .
