So I've been reading on the recent activity of those in the KC area, by any chance you guys want to have a meet/burger burn during the weekend of the 15th of June? I'm kicking it at a friend's house so I can't hold it at "my" place but if anyone wants to meet up somewhere do just kick it, I'm all down. :hellyeah:

Haven't been to a meet in a while anyway... like 2-3 years... :sosad:

So what you guys think? Meet, eat, and talk cars or whatever...
 
If we can get a few more people out there that'd be awesome. Any places you guys think you'd want to meet up at? I'll bring some meat and whatever, just gotta get some people, head count and how much to buy and we'll be good to go. I'm down for whateva!
 
I was thinking maybe a park or something, a place where we can do a burger burn, I know of some places that have decent sized parking on the Missouri side but still trying to get it relatively close to the border so it's fair for the people on the Kansas side.

Well if we do something like that we might be able to find a Golden Corral or something if not are any of you familiar with any of the places listed here? If so we can hit them up, of course it'd be the "non-reserved ones." We'll all meet up somewhere and drive there or all just meet up there and first person holds down the fort until the rest get there. Again I'll pay for the meat and stuff just need people to bring sides, buns, drinks etc and a good conversation!
 
Leawood Park just across the state line at just south of 435 off of Lee, plenty of parking. Come on KC speak up!
 
Oh that is a good place, word. Well of the people currently involved what do you think? Sound good - if you got other ideas they are welcome too. And to what was said above, speak up! We don't bite here you know... LOL
 
Awesome deal, if you know any others let them know too. So I guess at the moment we're good with going to Leawood Park? I'll bring the meat and such, if you plan to bring something on the side put it here so we all know what's already being brought.
 
Well now that the location is all sorted, would everyone be cool with a Saturday afternoon? It'll be the 16th possibly around 5:30? or later? It'll give people a chance to get home from work and get cleaned up if they need too. It can be done earlier if need be but let me know so I can tell my other peeps on FB.
