I was wondering if anyone knew any good machine shops here in jax. That will clean, clearance and assemble the head and block. Possible port and polish depending on their price.

Had a blown head gasket a few weeks back since then i've purchased 280 cams, new springs, valves, valve locks, retainers, revised lifters. All the other lil things needed. Just waiting to find a shop b4 buying new rods/pistons.

i got a long block rebuilt at precision machine shop off of phillips hgwy. it cost like 1900 for them to rbuild it and put it together and i got it back as a long block no install. i put all the manifolds and accesories all back toghter.

Lol, it took someone a while to reply to that. But its all good, I went there already, I was gonna have a tuning shop build it but they dodged my calls. Either way, ya pms is cheap, u musta had them stock rebuild it. Mines in there now being built for 1150 cant wait. Cleanin all the accessories and engine bay is taking some time tho.
