I live in Osgood, Indiana which is about 1 hour south from indy. I also have a couple of friends who live around me who are also DSMers. I know that once I get my car up and running that I am down to meet up somewhere in indy.

Well this just sucks you guys are all gonna hang out and I am gonna be stuck in Iraq. I am deployed with the unit from Indi and wel I wont be home till after the snow is all gone... I will have to try and make it a point to come hang out next time you all decided to get to gether

It'd be great to get together and meet everyone. Only problem is my car is like most peoples on here and not fully functioning at the moment; maybe in a month or so. Keep me posted if you guys pick a date.

Well once I get my car up and running I will send a PM to brier09 and then we can post dates to meet in indy. We should make the meeting place simple. And if everyone wanted to go out and get something to eat we could all go to Bob Evans. I am employed and I can bring me and up to 7 people to any restraunt and we all get a discount. So we could chat about our cars over some good food!

I just picked up a members 96 TSi last week. It has a spun bearing but I plan to have it fixed in about 2 weeks and back on the road. I have a few other cars too. Would be interested in getting together here soon once the weather clears.

Did you buy Tony's car? He was selling it at a crazy price, I almost bought it myself and would have if it wasn't an auto.

yeah I did. Got it for very cheap. It needs a little TLC but not much really to get it on the road. I am planning on rebuilding the bottom end, all new head gaskets and all, new timing pieces, and replace the little crap that needs attention in the interior. Yeah it being an Auto is a turn off but if I can find a 5speed awd trans I know someone who has the rest of the parts to swap it over. I may fix this up to be my daily driver and sell my Passat then build up my RX7 some more.
