My manager has given me permission to use the store parking lot of my Discount Tire for a car meet. There are about twenty-five actual parking spots but there is plenty of room to fit more cars. This is NOT in any way sponsored by Discount Tire and the company has nothing to do with this meet. We will simply be using the parking lot. It is right off of the beltway, so I think it will be a good spot. map is below.
There are two reasons for me wanting to do this. First of all, there have not been any good dsm meets where dsms actually show up. I would like to see what the Houston dsm community is all about. Second, I have been part of the dsm community for 7 years but I am not really familiar with many members of Htown-dsm. I do know some of you by screen names but I would like to take this opportunity to get to know more faces.
This is not just for dsm lovers but for all car enthusiasts. It is open to all makes and models. I know of at least 2 starions, a 600+ horsepower cobra, and a golf GTI that will show. So everyone is welcome. Please no RICERS. I am not posting this on Houston-Imports because I do not want the parking lot flooded with ricers and people who act a fool. Nothing against H-I, but I do not want this meet to be ruined. The store manager has given me permission, HOWEVER it can all be taken away if we screw something up. Please respect the property. If anyone is doing anything stupid I will personally ask you to leave.
So please spread the word by mouth to all your friends and relatives that may be interested in showing. I am looking for to see some nice cars.
Let me know if this date is good for everyone to attend. Feel free to give me your input so we can make this meet a success. Throw me your ideas so that way I can set an official time and date.

Rules: 1) No burnouts or reckless driving in or around the parking area
2) No drugs or alcohol
3) No glass containers
4) Please do not throw any trash on the floor. There is a dumpster in the lot, so please use that
