This has been on the back of my mind for a while now. My car has become much more than I ever thought it would have. I love it to pieces, but it just doesn't fit my lifestyle anymore. It's a really fast street car, that I hardly drive anymore. I don't cruise around alot like I used to, and so it just sits in the garage for the most part. And that's probably for the better, because it's only a matter of time before it would get me into trouble. But I'm reallt beginning to feel like all of my hard work isn't going to pay off except for a bit of pride in what I've created.
I don't have any intentions of getting out of the DSM game. I love building hot, nasty speed. I just need something to do with such a car when it's finished. I want a race car instead of a street car. I have my eye on a caged 1G that I'm considering picking up. The goal would be around 700-800 WHP in a lightweight chassis and I would have something that I can go racing with and be competitive with the local V8 cars. I would definitely compound turbo it too.
I really just think I'll enjoy a race car more than what I currently have.
I just feel like I've come to an end with my 2G and I'm ready for something different. Now the other problem is- what to do with my 2G? I really doubt anybody would be interested in paying me $15K+ for it complete. I could part it out down to a bare chassis, but then I'd feel bad for ruining a flawless '99 chassis. Or, I could convert it back to stock, sell off all of the aftermarket stuff, and sell the complete chassis. So many options...
Give me your opinions, guys.

). We have our cars to use them, not to stare at them.
