Soooo....

I've been parting out my galant gsx. Making a few bucks here n there. Making my money back. Well I finally sold the engine. The guy couldn't pick it up Friday night so I said, hey, i'm off Saturday and I wanted to goto the springs anyways. I could drop it off. Sweet. Well I worked my effin ass off getting that shortblock into my subby. It was very interesting. I think i'll take pictures of the bruises on each arm from the motor mounts.

Anyway, Long story upside down, I took the cash I sold that engines for and went and found myself a STEAL!
I ended up with 2 Eagle Talon TSI AWD's.

Car one: 92.
Rear ended, but it may be fixable. Havn't investigated enough. Great body, white, 5 speed. Runs pretty decent. Needs a water pump I found tonight... Has Corbeau racing seats? Which are pretty uncomfortable if you ask me... Shift light LOL, and a nice panasonic deck. 6/4 combo...SHWING!

Car two:91
Decent exterior, stock interior. Nothing special. White, 5 speed, steelie rims with brand new snow tires, Apparently something is wrong with the starter/flywheel. Haven't dug in just yet. It sounds like the teeth on the starter are fried. Also been told that the timing belt skipped a tooth. Not entirely sure. I have a feeling its an easy fix. We'll see. Oil looked goofy. I saw either VERY small bubbles on the dipstick or metal flakes. The flakes weren't shiney so.... but it was dark too...

Anyway, wanted to share my new find. Not sure what i'm gonna do with them yet. I've ALWAYS wanted a white one... now i have two! I'll post pictures shortly.

You still have the rear end and trans from your GGSX? (maybe I already bought it, I've forgotten who I bought a couple from)

Lol thats the funny part. I dont even have enough room for these cars. The one thats hit in the ass is gonna get parked outside for now. The other one will too. I'll have to update the tags and figure out what to do with them next. I'll replace the water pump here soon just to get one home. The other I have to figure out whats wrong with it. I think the starter is screwed. If its not that its the flywheel but its rare when a flywheel gets destroyed from a starter. After that its a hunt in a time race. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm gonna go get one on Wednesday I think. The other i'll have to figure out later.
