Worst/bad calls or decisions in sports

So I was watching last nights game and saw one of the worst/blown calls I have ever seen.

This is not about I hate this team and that team, lets just hear from other DSMers about some of the worst calls/decisions(mma/boxing and so on) they have seen or heard..

the only one that affected the game was the swisher "not tagging up" play. Other than that the others were mistakes and no harm was done with them. If the yanks scored on that then I can understand but it didn't so end thread.

haha i was watching that as it happend and thought it was a pretty bad call. I wonder if MLB will adopt instant replay any time soon?? They might as well since theyve already started to use it for questionable home run/foul calls..

Back in Salt Lake City, womens olympic hockey gold game, canada vs usa. Sorry yanks, that was the absolutely saddest, most obvious one sided called game in any sport that I have ever watched. Even the announcers were saying the refs were repeatedly calling penalties on Canada on legal plays. We still beat ya though

even as a yankees fan that call at third the other night pissed me off with how unbelievably dumb the ump was. (Don't even get me started on the bad base running by posada and cano). Fortunately the game ended the way it did and allthough the call on swisher leaving third was terrible he should have been out before he even made it to third anyways. Also my take on swisher being called out at 3rd was the umpire was watching the ball get caught and in his peripheral vision he saw swisher begin to move. You can see in the replay his body began heading towards home but that his foot hadn't left the bag yet, I imagine the ump saw the movement and decided he had left the bag early that way. Either way the man is old blind and retarded and should not be an ump in the playoffs if he can't make a call like the ones he botched

The worst sports call ever is UFC itself. UFC has ruined sports as we know it. I literally feel disgusted by all the kids running around in fight gear - but what's worse are the 40 year old mom's wearing tight pink t-shirts with"knock out, "tap out" or "UFC" in glittery letters.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the fights once in a while, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't dismiss the "sport" all together.

I attend a bar that bans 2 things. Fight clothing and work clothing. I think it's a fantastic ideal.
