These are not Groden rods. Just sharing the new parts for our single second build. They are GRP rods, built in denver(locally). Just a comparison shot for some people. We are hoping for very big things this year.

I also don't want to hear about how they will stretch. This is a drag car. And if I needed to I was given a 20,000 mile limit on them before full replacement.

I wouldnt say anything against building an aluminum rod motor at all. Actually, Im contemplating installing aluminum rods in my current 2.3 build since my car is only driven on the street maybe 100 miles a year. It sits on the trailer most of the time when its not at the track.

So, whats the price difference between them grp and groden? Do they come with the bearings?

Not trying to be an ass, but what is the purpose of this post? Most of us have seen both groden and eagle rods already. If not, its not hard to find pics on the web of both.

We got our GRP's for $500. I think the groden's are like $700-900. Depending on who and where you get them from. No bearings came with them, but GRP can get you the line on those. There is a hole on the lower bearing for a pin in the rod. You can see the brass pin in s few of the pictures.

Yea, groden also has the locator pin and can include the modified bearings for them. The price doesnt sound too bad either. When will you be putting this beast together? Im curious as to how much you are going to have to grind on the block.

And I dont know how my post^ got so screwed up.WTF

The block actually dosnt need any clearencing. For the 6 bolt motors you need to clearence on the main cap braces (alot). Thats the arches that connect the mains together under cly.1 and 4. Yea they are BIG.
