I was thinking about an Rx7 to V8 swap but I saw these... Since I'm keeping my
I might as well go bowtie across the board on the other car...
Look at the rear tire...
Wow this color like the
but with the other cars tires...

Pro touring is the combination of suspensions that handle, big brakes, overdrive transmissions, modern sound systems, intermitent wipers and the like to muscle cars...
Looks like fun..
I have a slowly on going LS1 engine build 6.0 iron truck block, 4.8 liter crank, 6.0 truck exhaust manifolds, All-pro cylinder head (sold 2 sets 6.0 truck heads)... I need rods, wisecos, comp cam and solid roller lifters and a bunch of other stuff.... I'll take my time and wait for the deals...
The all pros have thicker decks and more material around head bolts. The LS1 has head lifting problems with boost so the allpro heads + oversize diameter ARP studs are said to be the ticket and cost less than AFR's. Big power rigs get throttle bodies bolted to a aftermarket carb intake manifold drilled for MPFI...
The truck manis get mounted on the wrong sides of the engine to hang GT40's on each upfront on the engine. A 329 cu/in LS1 TT...
Watch some of the newer f-bods and GTO's... Rear mount turbos are getting popular with hp in the 5xx-6xx range... There are a few big single non-retarded (up front) mounted turbos around... BIG power and fewer Big twins...
The single rear mounts are more comon because they install easy... Lucky for us most those guys dont run much boost because they are too cheap to do a bottom end on their engine...

! I have wanted a '69 Camaro Z/28 RS since I turned 16. And I've wanted to make a pro-touring car out of it before I ever heard of such a term. I still want to build one with the new 7.0L Z06 motor and a T56 of ZF. I want to get either the full global west suspension or a C4/C5 front end and I know Wayne Due builds the subframes for those.
