Finally got all the body items from the body shop. Got the rear bumper, center peice tail light, side skirts. All body work should be done here in a matter of weeks.

Just this week I sold my rims. Now I just have the 97-99 Eclipse GS-GST 5-Spoke rims on. I have my springs/struts/shocks sitting in my room to be installed.

Friday I bought a 20g. Later this week I will be buying some RC 550's. The turbo and injectors will be installed this week also. I can't wait. Will be on low low boost until I get a SAFC.

You do not know how happy I am to finally start buying mods again. Since my wreck all I have had is bad luck. Now I can start putting on all my parts. All this will be done starting on Monday.

Install 20g
Install RC 550's
Buy AFC
Install springs, struts, shocks
Finish the rest of the body work

I will add pictures soon. Also I will have a new timeslip. Can't wait to hit some mid to sub 13's. Who knows.

Just thought I would let you guys know. I havn't updated much since the accidents.

Take care.

Brandon

Thanks man. Yeah. I havn't been around other forums latly. Mostly KCSR. It's addicting isn't it?

If you read on there about Arkansaw. I bought his old turbo. Evo III Housing, 20g wheel, fully ported o2. Should be fun. Alot better than the ol' T-25 :sneaky:

Why a 20G? There are more efficient turbos that can get you into the 12s. Other than that, sounds like a fun project.

Yes I know. I was orginally going to go with a AGP RS59. But I had the chance to jump on the 20g for a great price. Plus he already ran a 12.0@114 on this same turbo. I will go with the AGP unit here shortly or when I hit the 12 second mark.

I figured you probably got it for cheap. There is nothing wrong with the 20G, its just kind of the dinosaur of the DSM world but it has definitely proven itself.

I wanted a new one but I couldn't pass this up. It is either wait longer and pay over twice as much or pick it up now. It has proven itself many many times. Nothing wrong with the 20g at all. It does the job well and that is all that matters.

Just make sure you don't install the injectors until you get something to control them with first. You probably already know this but your post made it sound like you were going to install the injectors then get an afc later.

Sorry to mislead. The car will be down for a couple days any way from buying parts and body work. The 20g, injectors, fuel setup lines etc, and a temporary AFC will all be installed at the same time. Then when I get a little bit more cash I will be getting DSMlink.

why 550's? If you ever go with a bigger turbo or want to run alot of boost on pump gas they will have to be upgraded.

I have a friend selling some RC 550's for $175. But I do wan't bigger. Soon I wan't the car to be tuned for 20lbs on 92 octane. So of course I will need bigger injectors. We will see. My friend with a 20g and 550's was running 24lbs and the injector's were at 90% cycle duty. No problem.

We will see.

good luck man.. should be a pretty quick setup..

yea 20g is old but proven.. not something that is recommended to purchase brand new with its price tag along the lines of the newer stuff.. but if u got a good deal on it.. its all good..

Thanks. It should be alright. With the 20g I plan on having it tuned on 20-22lbs on 92 octane. I have made a pretty big list of what other small bolt on's and supporting mods I will need in the next few months.

Once I hit my goal of 400whp on the 20g at 22lbs. I will do a new setup. I am just really glad I am able to start my project again. Hopefully nothing will interfere again.

*Knocks on wood*

Actually it's the Evo III. It's his room mates (Brandon's) housing that Brent put on there.
