i been fired

well i been fired at my part time job. My manager had some type of beef with me. claiming i had a bad attitude and being rude to custormers. he says he called the custormers that i deliver too saying i was rude to them. he wrote me up 1 day for misunderstanding him then the next day he didnt work but was there and two more write up and oh well thats three your gone.


I know for a fact i was not rude to the custermers which is why it burns me soooo much. in my opion i think he was jeleous becasue i hung around the manger that he was in love with. but i already have a new part time job. do u think i should talk to the general mangar or the owner claiming i was wrongfully fired

Alright man, I'm not trying to flame because I to also used to type like you. A good percentage of people on this forum will not read a post typed like you did. You spelled a lot of words wrong. I'm just trying to make it easier for you.

But your boss seems a lot like mine, he's a total dick, he yelled at me for messing up an order (I just started working 2 days before that) and I was like "Alright Brian I'm sorry" and he went off on me for being a "smartass". If the pay was good at the old job then I say you complain.

what do you hope to accomplish by claiming you were wrongfully fired? it was just a part time job, now you have another one. move on.

i couldnt get a raise for nuttin no matter how hard i tried, i clean extra tried to stay extra busy. i only had 3hrs of sleep one day cause i went to the casino and got home about 7 30 -8 00 am and got a call about 10 30ish wanting me to work, i went in to work. but he claims i didnt want to be there. if i didnt want to be there would i ask for more hrs.

I guess all the Domino's pizza places suck cause the one down the road keep's firing people becuase the managers hate their lives. Oh well, I work at Papa John's Pizza and it's all good for me

I love my job when my other manager is working, he's laid back and cool. But Brian is just a dick, he yell's too much, makes us do pointless stuff like we will mop the floor and then it isn't busy later so he makes us do it again, but yet we do it at night again too. Maybe I just complain a lot.

I'm gonna sound like a dick but since I used to be a manager at a pizza place I'll have to interject. I would have the employees mop the floor multiple times a night or do it myself if noone was available. The customers would tromp all sorts of mud and stuff in and it would look like crud. Then when the corporate offices did random customer satisfaction call backs we'd get complaints around the floor being dirty, It didn't matter if it was pouring rain outside and a football team had just come in right after practice, that's what the customer remebers. I guess none of the employees minded me havng them do tasks because they knew I'd do it myself if I had to and understood why it had to be done. I guess the real difference between good and bad managers is the way they give orders not the orders they give.
About the wrongful fire thing, if you really want to go for it but it was only a parttime job and you can easily put it behind you. Noone's going to look at your resume 10 years from now and say, "You're exactly what we're looking for but I'm afraid this bad attitude you were fired for back in 2005 makes me change my mind."

Sorry bartels903, I misread your reply. If it wasn't busy I'd just let the emloees chill in the back. They knew what had to be done before they got off so I didn't have to find BS for them to do during slow time.
