I was wanting to know what the best lowering springs and strut package for 1g DSMs. I want to know which ones are proven to help with AWD launching and ETs. I just wanna spend about $300 or less for something that will improve my takeoff and lower ETs.

I only ask this because my friend says he drove a AWD that's been lowered and the takeoff is awesome compared to stock. Also I'm gonna be putting a weld center differential in my tranny so I know that will help my launches
I just want extra help.

Best and Cheap don't go together... if you want the BEST go to http://www.roadraceengineering.com they have the JIC Coilover kit, which is the absolute best for a 1G. HOWEVER... it's $1600... $2000 if you have them install it and tune it (they've been winning road races and building road race cars longer than any DSM shop out there... they know their sh*t)

Now if you want Cheap and effective then http://www.diamondstarspecialties.com may be for you. They have a suspension for about $500 that isn't too bad.

I'll be investing my money into the JIC kit from RRE... but not everyone needs to take corners at 3x the posted limit.

is the prokit more of a drag race type sring or is the sportline better...also how do you get custom spring rate over what they offer

The prokit is better than the sportline. The sportline is way too soft for the drop it gives you. If you have you heart set on eibach, either get custom rates, or the prokit.

Thanks for answering the prokit or sportline but how do I get custom spring rates and how much more extra. Because I can get a set of prokits for my car on ebay for like $200.

Also the purpose of the springs on my car will be to get better launches
out the hole, more so eliminate squatting in the rear.

Also should i get regular kyb shocks or adjustable ones or how about regulars in front and adjustables in back, so you can adjust the back to help eliminate squat? Will that work? help me out please.

i was thinking about a setup with regular kybs in the front and some kyb agxs in the rear...
would this be a good race setup.....i figure you really only need to stiffen up the rear so it'll rebound better to help out on squating...so why nee agx's in the front ...what do you guys think

its gonna be for drag racing man......i got a AWD..right it squats to much,so the front tire are a little to much

i meant the front tires are spinning to much

The advantage to having AGXes in the front as well would be an adjustment in rebound. If you got Konis, from what I understand, they only adjust rebound and compression is pre set, so if you put the Konis on the front, that would be your best bet.
