can a 1G wear 13" wheels

I'm wondering if 13" rims on a 90' FWD non-abs car will be able to clear the brakes? Just wondering the smallest wheel that goes on (without it being some expensive custom wheel). So, if not a 13, then a 14? or is a 15 the smallest that will clear? Need to know for when I buy drag slicks and auto-x tires.

Whats the size of the spare? Thats usually the smallest

I believe that 15's are the smallest. I got a gvr4 that i tried putting 14's on and the brakes didn't clear, and the brakes are the same as 1gens

I had a GVR-4 also... on GVR-4 and GGS-X the smallest you can fit is a 15" due to the larger 11.5" brakes. on the FWD n/t you can fit 14's.

On a DSM if you retain the stock 10.5" front brakes, you can fit a 14" wheel. I had a set of 98 RS 14" alloy wheels that fit the 1g DSMs...and the 1.8 DSMs came factory with 14" steel wheels.
