Okay, got my 3" exhuast on, and the car pulls pretty hard.

Problem? The car just SINKS back, big time. Taking the weight off the front end, and giving me lots of tire spin when I boost in 2nd gear!

Granted, it is cool seeing the car just squat on throttle, but I'd rather have it stay flat.

In the past I've used GR2's (which don't seem a whole lot stiffer than the stock KYB's) and Eibach pro-kits. Worked great.

Is there a cheaper spring than the Eibachs? Not real concerned with lowering the car, an inch is fine, but looking for something to stiffen the ride up. I like the eibachs but I wouldn't mind saving a hundred bucks.

Would it make more sense to to buy AGX's and cheap eBay coils?

So you have a stock suspension then. As you know replacing the springs or shocks is a bad idea... but replacing both at the same time is the way to go.

I wouldn't go with ebay or cheap coilovers because the springs are not set up for any one car. If you don't want to spend the $900 for the TEIN setup then I would go with the Eibachs and a set of Illumina's or Koni's.

You could even try just upgrading the shocks. To my knowledge I have never heard of anyone doing that. Most people change springs and then bi***, not the other way around.

on my fwd i have the eibach sportlines and they do a pretty good job, i'm hoping to get a good set of agx's soon to really help them out. but even with blown shocks i was pulling a 2.3 60' time with themat the track on shitty tires. but now with the shocks being even worse and my snow tires on, 10 psi or more and they'll just spin through most of second.

I have the KYB AGX 8-way adjustables on my 93 TSi. My EVOIII used to really plant my rear end till I installed the AGX's and adjusted them to level 8 (maximum stiffness) needless to say I get little to no ass squat now! Only set them to this setting if you want to feel EVERY dip in the road!
