Are 5/16 inch thickness spacers big enough to put 3G RX-7 wheels on?

How you guys doing? I am going to be putting 3G RX-7 wheels on my 2G GSX soon and i was looking into how you need spacers so the tires dont rub the control arms. i found some on JCWhitney for like 6 bucks each. I was wondering though are 5/16 inch thickness spacers big enough so the tires wont rub the control arms. Also if you guys know any other places to get the spacers, for example if i need larger then 5/16 inch, let me know. Any info is awesome, thanks a lot.

I don't KNOW, and I'm sure it's been and will be done many times and to great success: but it's not usually a good practice to put RWD wheels on FWD chassis (which even the DSM AWDs are). Also, that seems like kind of a lot of spacing for the factory studs.

See if Tire Rack can help you, they should have the spacers, probably the knowledge of others using Mazda wheels on DSMs, and advice about the whole setup.
