In a quest to make my car suitable for a couple canyon runs and not be so straightline oriented, I tried beefing up my suspension. Only thing was that I just mix and matched by myself and I don't know crap about suspensions. Someone tell me if this was a good improvement:

I swapped out my stock busted shocks and installed some KYB GR-2s, not the better AGXs but hope it helps. Then I got rid of the stock springs and added a set of intrax lowering springs. Then I bought an extreme motorsports strut tower bar and installed that. Next I added a RRE rear sway bar. Traded the stock front brakes for EBC slotted rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads. Only other thing I was planning on adding is a RRE Front Lower Stress Bar.

What do you think? Anything else I should add? Will this setup handle significantly better than stock?

Thanks guys

I would say that that is a very nice setup... I have AGX's w/ Eibach Prokit and love 'em... I think that next to 'true' coilover setup (ie: Tein) it's a excellent bang for the $$$.... Just my $.02...

What about the bushings??? You could swap them out from polyurethane bushings, but be prepared for an intense workout between getting the old ones out and the new ones in.

The end result is a suspension setup that doesn't move around like the springy rubber bushings.

What do you have to unistall move to get to the bushings aside from the old ones?

Does this make the ride pretty harsh?

Hey I had the pro kit and agx combo with all poly bushing including motor mount on my fwd. Around town driving was very harsh. I definatly did not like the ride. trying to find a better setup for my awd. On a side not after 85 mph the car handeled like a bmw.
