Do 2Gs have Park brake intergrated into the Caliper like 1Gs?

Hey, I was looking at the Rear pistons on my Eclipse.

I was able to bolt on a 1G 3000GT VR4 Caliper, which gives me an extra 1inch of clearance. So I could put on a Vented 11.25 inch rotor.

Considering that, I know that a 2G VR4(2 piston) caliper gives an extra .5 inches. Meaning I could put on an 11.7. rotor.

The AEM Brake rotor is 11.5 inches. Which I think means, I can put the AEM rear rotors with the 2G VR4 rear piston calipers.

When I had the brakes apart, I didnt think to look at the Parking brake setup. It the 2G Eclipse uses a seperate Drum brake setup inside the Rotor, like the 3000GT, then I will try to do this upgrade.

I definately dont want to lose my Ebrake.

Sweet. I wonder why people dont do the NA 3000GT brake upgrade. People would at least get thicker rotors.

I will let you guys know. I am actually going to do a domino upgrade. Hopefully, everything works out.

1) considering the mounts are the Same size(3000GT NA/VR4 and Eclipse GSX), and the same distance from the center. I know that the 2G VR4 pistons give me 11.62 inches of rotor clearance.

2) If a 3000GT NA rear rotor fits on my eclipse, I would guess an Eclipse Rear rotor would fit on the 3000GT. AEM makes a 11.5 inch rear rotor.

3) I am going to try to put the VR4 rear caliper and AEM brake on my 3000GT. (I will also do a test fit on the eclipse, for curiousity's sake)

4) Then I will put my 3000s NA brakes on my eclipse.

Now, I have to find 2G VR4 calipers.
