will these rims fit?

Hey Everybody,

I am in a bind right now and i'm trying to get my gsx on the road however my michlens on my icws are completely bald basically,and i need to get my car inspected. My friend has a set of 99 Cadilac sts rims which are 16 inch that have brand new tires on them. My question is i think they will fit however the only think that worries me is that they are 5x115 instead of 5x114.3, i was just wondering do you all think these would still fit on my car? in order to find out just take a rim off his car and try and put it on your car, is it really that hard that yo uhad to ask some other people? No, it isn't. you are just a dumb f***

ummm.... ok i don't have the car with me at the current momemt so that's why i can't take the rim/ tire off and see if it fits. Anybody else have any idea? Thanks alot

The Cadillac backspacing is in the ballpark but I think I would have to bet against them fitting. In order for them to fit the 0.7mm smaller spacing they would have to be manufactured with holes that are essentially 1.4mm larger diameter than the studs they are designed to fit. That’s a lot of play.

There are some site members with professional tire installation experience. Maybe one of them could comment on this.
