Lowering springs

hi, Im kinda new to the suspension scene. Can someone tell me if lowering springs require any other aftermarket parts, such as struts, etc. I'm looking at Dropzone 2.5" and it doesnt really say. Also, any suggestions on the best for a 97 Eclipse GS. Thanks for any help.

You should purchase aftermarket performance struts at the same time. if you dont, you will blow out your stocks and end up replacing them in a month or two anyways.

Besides the performance struts, you will need a camber kit if you don't want to replace your tires every couple of months.

the sprint springs r nice, they dont have a lot of other after market crap u have to buy with em, i just ordered a set for a 1g tho im sure 2 may be a lil diff

Id definitely save up and go all out with the suspension. Camber kits, springs, shocks; all at once. Otherwise you will burn through tires like crazy and probably blow your shocks. The stock shocks are not meant to be used with lowered cars. Especially 2.5"! Keep your eyes open with a drop that low, you will have to adjust your driving style around town. It should perform much better through turns though. Good luck.

BTW, the dropzone 2.5" rides LIKE SHIT. My friend had them on his eclipse before he sold them and the ride quality was pretty bad. A lot worse than my prokit.
