well i just bought a 92 talon he just had the brakes all redone on them but it sat in snow for 6 months.
the back brakes dont work the rotors are rusted but in the middle on each side there is a spot where its either rubbing or they are only working a little bit but not really putting alot of pressure on. its only like a 1/4"-1/2" line where its not rusted. the back brake pads still look like there is alot of life on them like they are new.

and also my brake pedal kinda pulsates a bit which i thought was a warped rotor(but now im guessing its something to do with the back brakes not working)

any ideas what might be wrong ?

Pulsing is almost always from warped rotors. You could probably save that brake job by having the rotors turned, just a cleanup pass. The moisture shouldn't hurt the pads.

did you read it ??? i said my rear brakes dont work !!!!!!!!!!!!

No reason to get PO'd. Defiant is a busy man. Anyhow have you removed the rear calipers to examine them? See if the pistons will go back in. If not the calipers are froze up. Check the the caliper pins make sure they are not froze up. If these are problems I would look into buying loaded calipers from a parts house and replace or turn the rotors. Rear calipers are known for siezing on many vehicals because they don't get real hot and don't really move much.

ic. thanks alot

i was looking at a few sites with them. some are like $50-$60 then there are some that are like $110-$120 any idea what the difference is ?

they are all remanufactured and loaded...

Not sure what the difference would be. But loaded calipers are the way to go because that replaces all the parts in question. Just make sure it's a reputable company. Tell you what I'll look at work today to se how much ours are. I'll PM you tonight.

ok cool thx where you work at ?
i was looking @ the parts america website.
