Tein S Tech lowering springs

Hi,

I was wondering, can I got ahead and get the Tein S Tech lowering springs (1.4/1.2 drop) without shocks. Will the stock shocks hold up ?

I will be getting new shocks later on, but for now could I do without ?

This is directly from RRE:

"If you are on a budget and can't afford both, get shocks only for better handling. If your only purpose is to get all the chicks & look cool with a lousy ride, get springs only. "


There is no point. You might as well wait and do both at the same time.
