KYB boot and parts question

Hey guys, just got the boots and strut mounts for my KYB AGX shocks and was wondering if the piston on the shocks turns or not? this is important b/c if it does that i can't put the zip tie on the boot if it doesn't than i can. Also, how many tie rod ends does the AWD TSI (97) have? Any other suspension mods i should worry about before increasing the HP?

Anyone out there? Also, i need to know, 2 of the four (shorter AGX) allow the boot to fit perfect and loose without stretching them, the longer AGX with the mounting bolt hole at the bottom come up short and wondering if this is a problem? thanks.

Once it's bolted in the rod/piston don't move much. Zip tie or it will pop off. 4 tie rods/ two inner and two outer. And if your car is lowered AGX in front are not the best choice. As far as other mods just make sure it's all safe. Might save your life someday.

Why does everyone keep saying such bad things about the KYB??? i heard on one web site that the rod what improperly measured for one end of the car and ended up being 1" too long??? anyone know the truth to this??? Will the stock boots fit over the shock if these don't???
