would this profile cause any rubbing on stock 91 talon awd 16" rims?

225/50/16

I believe the stock size is 205/55/16

I want lower profile tires, and 225/50/16 is the closest (i believe) to the stock size.

I'm just worried that its too wide that's all.

They would look funny b/c the sidewall would stick out from the rest of the tire, that is, if you could get them mounted properly. I don't think a 225 will mount on a 6" wheel, but I could be wrong.

hmm....yah...I was thinking of that too.

Is there a lower profile tire size that I can go to on stock rims and yet try to maintain overall tire diameter as close to stock as possible?

Not really. If you really want low pros, you'll have to buy bigger wheels or deal w/the speedo being off a few MPH.

Your speedo will probably be off SLIGHTLY with that size. If you could learn to read the speedo correctly, you would be fine. Its not a safety issue or anything, just as long as you know how accurate the speedo is, you can put any size you want.:dsm:
