Toronto,
Hello all,
I'm looking into getting a front sway bar. The Ractive model for the 1G caught my eye because it's not too expensive and I can get it from a shop I frequently visit. I was just curious what anyone had to say about it. Bad, good, anything please. Thanks.

which one is it...sway bar or strut bar?

have it ,love it.simple and solid.get it( i payed 25$ shipped to my house on ebay):p

I have one on my Talon. It does have a bit of flex in it, but i found that if you tighten the hell out of the bolts on the end of the bar, it helps to get rid of it.

It's not the best but it sure is better than nothing. I noticed an improvement with it. :)

i was told not to get a ractive(especially for 2g) they had complaints the hood wouldnt shut all the way. remember, this is what ive heard, not sure, i have a #1 strut bar from nopi, and i love it. pay 45$ for it.:thumb:

It's a decent strut bar. I have both front and rear strut bars from ractive. The front one is well worth the money. On a 2g it does have some minor fitment problems over the belt cover. I have a few arks and scratches on the underside of my hood but if you adjust the hood bumpers up then it should fit fine. The rear one well... I guess it is better than nothing but it's not too great. Way too much flex in it and the nuts rattle unloose.
So if you just want something cheap then thats the way to go on the front like stated before tighten the hell out of the nuts and it will hold it's own.
