What can be done to maximize FWD Traction at drag strip besides slicks?

-LSD - limited slip Diff.
-Lower psi in front tires, raise psi in rear tires. 25/40
-Remove anything that isn't needed from the back half of the car.
-Stronger shocks, or kits designed for FWD racers like the one from dejon tool. 3-400 dollars.

These were all I could find, but I just went out to the track and pulled junk for times all because of my launching. Granted I only tried adjusting the tire pressure. But still, if you dont want to listen to me I understand. :p

yeh besides slicks an LSD is the best thing to get. Lowering and getting stiffer shocks and stiffer ployurethane bushings and motor mounts will also help I'm sure you already knew about tire pressure.

:D I bought the car used with a few mods already on it, but nothing was said about a LSD. Everytime I have done a burn-out at the track smoke came up from both sodes of the car and it leaves two nice even black strips on the street pavement. The Turbo Spyders were pretty loaded up with options, could it have had the Liminted-Slip Diff from the factory? btw: I'm getting my GN back from a engine rebuild tomorrow with a new Hydralic Roller Cam!!! Previous best was 11.84@114 Drag Radials, full exhaust and pump gas!!! TURBOS RULE!!!!!:thumb: :thumb:
