Went to put my motor in and noticed that the inner diameter of the sleeve in the front solid bushing is much larger than the bolt size that i have. Did i get sent the wrong one or do people just put a bigger bolt in and drill out the holes on the mount that is attached to the motor? Thanks in advance.

That's how mine was on my 2g gst. I've always wondered why it came that way, I mean I guess when the bolts tight it shouldn't move. But either way seems odd to not fit it with a bigger bolt. Only thing I can think of is it probably helped dampen the motor more during shifts, making it smoother for the driver. But im talking normal drivers, not the way we drive these things LOL. Either way I drilled the bracket out for a bigger bolt on mine, and have full prothane's in all mounts.

Thanks for the quick reply. Ill drill it out and get a bigger bolt.

Mine was like that too and I think that the stock hole was that big too. Correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't put in a bigger bolt or drill anything and it drives perfectly normal?

I found an easier way to solve this issue, go down to the local auto parts store with the prothane sleeve in hand and ask for 5/16" fuel/coolant line. Have them cut a piece as long as the sleeve and it will fit snug inside the sleeve. But the factory bolt will not fit, take the rubber out of the sleeve and use a drill to open the hole in the rubber. Drill it out just big enough for the bolt and your done. That's what I did and it works perfect, no major vibration since the rubber line is in there but you still get the full use or the prothane since it is now a solid mount...

These are my findings and fixings....
