Quick N00B FWD Question

Im sure you've all felt it.. the downside of FWD.. the rough shifting... unless im just a crappy shifter

I was wondering, if i upgraded my Shocks/Springs, would it take some of that roughness off?

And no, i dont want to drop my car much since it scratches from time to time as it is.

altering the suspension will not affect the shifting. Replacing the tranny fluid with Redline MTL or Syncroshift will.

im just talking about the smoothness of the aftershock.

Btw, we looked for the valve under the car.. couldnt find anything to drain the transmission or whatever!

My aftershock smoothness levels are well within spec and I'm FWD.

Im talking about the extra effort involved to get a clean shift. Ill prolly upgrade whether or not it affects the shift.

Are you talking about the shaking of the car after like shifting from 1 to 2? The tires add a lot to it when they fight for grip. Depends if you're shifting really fast and shock the drivetrain.

you just can't drive...get an automatic, that'll take care of the problem.....

Yeah, I hear the aftershock smoothness levels of the automatic's are much reduced due to the aftershock restrictor controller solenoid (ARCS). Definately a plus
