So I just bought some steelies, and I guess even though it's the right lug pattern, i didn't think about this. Can steelies fit on eclipses? I was curious because I don't believe i have ever seen eclipses rolling on them LOL.. Well I went to put on the front wheels, the calipers hit the steelies. I'm thinking about ordering some wheel spacers, but i'll need 1.25 to 1.5" of spacer on to get these to fit probably. The back wheels have plenty of clearance, which is the first steel wheel pic. The last pic shows how the fronts hit the caliper.

I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has ever ran into this problem.
Do all steelies run into this problem, because most steel wheels I've seen have the same setup without spacing.
If so, would wheel spacers be a good idea? I've attached pictures to show how things line up. Thanks :thumb:

Those are not DSM steelies. Those wheels are pressed inward and do not give you enough clearance. DSM steelies came in 14 and 16 inch for the 1G. I do not know if they had steel wheels for the 2G. The 16" steel wheel's will clear the dual piston front calipers.
