Those RX-7 rims look great but I have some questions, what size are they, will they fit my car width-wise, will my tires from a stock TSI and DL, (they're different on each side, bought it like that) fit, how much were they and where did you get them?

Check on different RX-7 forums, I've seen plenty of sets for sale there.

They bolt up but you need a spacer because they BS is alittle off, at least that is what I hear.

Oh yeah they are 16"'s.

.They are 16x8 and weigh in at 16 # each, unless you get the early one that weigh like 14 but are very brittle. I have a set that I am putting on my car and I need spacers prob around 15mm, and I will still have to grind on the upper control arms a little on the rear. Also tire choice is very important you will prob want a 225-50-16. You should be able to pick them up for 300 plus shipping on the parts trader. Mine are sliver, I think those are powder coated to that color.

Good luck and happy moding

I am selling my 16x8" race rims. They weigh 16lbs a piece and are a +32mm offset (versus the stock +46mm) which means you won't need a spacer. I ran 245/45/16 tires on my 2G without any spacer. In other words you get all the benefits of the RX7 rims, no spacers required.

They are the rims on the car in my sig pic and in my gallery when racing.

These RX-7 rims sound like too much trouble IMO. Just go buy some other 16's like Rotoa slipstreams that weigh a measly 12lbs.

The problem is that Rota's only come in 7" width, which means you are stuck running 225 wide tires which really sucks when trying to run 245 wide tires for autocross duty. And as far as I know, the Slipstreams only come in +40 offset.

I have a 2g so I am not totally sure the difference of a 1g, but ill tell you what I have. Right now I am running rx7 rims, with 225/50/16 tires and 7/16 spacers and they do not rub. I also have a 1.3" pro kit drop. You might be able to get away with 5/16 spacers. I am putting on 245/50/16s soon so I might have to raise my car a little too make them fit perfectly. It is not alot of work to put the rx7 rims on and for the price of 16x8 wheel that weighs around 15lbs , it is cheap. I painted mine black and they look great.

That is a pic of a guy who's in our car club (carolinaDSM). He does alot of autocrossing. I've put a post on our board and hopefully he should get back to you about it. Also, there's another guy running the RX7 Rims from our club as well. His are on his white GST. He might be able to give you some more input as well if he gets on the site here.

Reminds me exactly of my car with the rx7 rims before I painted them black and put on a carbon fiber hood. I have a eclipse front on my talon and my car is white too.. What size tires do you run and spacers? Is your car lowered?

WOW!! Im famous!!! Yeah thats my car from an autox event this past summer.

Here is a better pic from that event...

The RX-7 wheels are 16 X 8, I am running 245/45 Kuhmo Victoracers with a 8mm spacer. They will rub just a tad on the front at full lock. I painted the rims gunmetal with the Duplicolor stuff. Works great.

I have been real happy with these rims. It is a PITA to keep up with the spacers, but its worth it when I look at prices for aftermarket 16 X 8 wheels $$$$. I did have one that cracked on me (you need to check them often for cracks) but overall I am still pleased. I plan on running them for the 2003 autox season and then I will be looking for some 17 X 9's (Mustang Cobra rims).
