Will 225/55/16's fit on a stock 16 inch wheel?

Ok I dont want to hear well the stock size is 205/55/16 or why not run this. Because I can get 2 tires with good tread in the 225/55/16 size for 60 bucks. They are pirelli's. But my question is will they fit and not rub?
They are .9 taller than the stock 205's....

225/55/16= Tire Diameter 25.744094488188978
205/55/16= Tire Diameter 24.87795275590551

So will these fit and not rub? I only want them on long enough so I can afford good tires which will take a lil bit after recooping from buying lots of crap....

Anyone know?
the size I want to run 225/50/16's but I dont have the cash for it right now....

well actually due to parents now helping I will be going to a lower profile tire. But the same width....

225/50/16's
This was the next set of tires inline and are the same overall height.
So what about this size? These are summer tires.

what kind of performance pro and cons can I expect from either 225/55/16 winter tires or 225/ 50/16 Summer directional tires?
